The Extension requests the following Chrome permissions:
storage: To save your answer key presets locally in your browser
activeTab: To interact with the current Canvas SpeedGrader page
scripting: To run the grading script on Canvas pages
host_permissions (*.instructure.com): To function on Canvas LMS websites
These permissions are used ONLY for the Extension's core functionality and NOT for data collection.
6. Third-Party Services
The Extension does NOT integrate with, share data with, or communicate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks.
The Extension interacts ONLY with Canvas LMS pages that you are already authorized to access as an instructor.
7. Children's Privacy
The Extension is designed for use by educators and instructors. It is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
8. Data Retention
Your answer key presets are retained locally until you:
Manually delete them through the Extension interface
Uninstall the Extension
Clear Chrome extension data
There are no server-side backups or data retention as we do not collect any data externally.
9. Your Rights
You have the right to:
Access all data stored by the Extension (view your presets)
Delete all data (remove presets or uninstall)
Export your data (export presets as JSON)
Use the Extension without providing any personal information

11. Canvas LMS and Instructure
This Extension is a third-party tool and is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by Instructure, Inc. or Canvas LMS.
